Gloria Tabor McPherson's Obituary
Gloria Tabor McPherson, 83, of Fayetteville, AR died on November 24th at Washington Regional Medical Center.
She was born on July 30, 1926 in Shreveport, LA to the late Malcolm L. Tabor and Eva H. Tabor of Oil City, LA.
A lifelong educator, Gloria received her Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University and subsequently earned a Master's degree in Education from the University of Arkansas. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Zeta, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
A member of Central United Methodist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Herbert and a son, Malcolm. She is survived by a son Allen McPherson of Fayetteville, AR, and a granddaughter, Allie of Covington, LA.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 3rd at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance may be made to Central United Methodist located at 6 West Dixon, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
Internment will be on Saturday, December 5th in Simsboro, LA.
