I will always cherish the kind gesture he gave on my senior night. He found out my mom or family couldn't be there and he kindly stepped in and walked me out on the basketball court for my special night. Prayers for the Morgan Family.

Gordon and I both joined the faculty at the University of Arkansas in1969. He encouraged me throughout my career and introduced me to his students and fellow faculty members. Gordon was unfailingly polite, witty, and cut to the chase when discussing critical social issues. Gordon was generous and thoughtful. When a favorite cat died, Gordon and Izola were there to provide me with a cuddly kitten. My condolences to Izola and their children.
