Dear Carol & family,Jack and I were so sad to hear that Grady had passed away. We only learned of it this week. I'm so sorry we have not kept in better touch with you. It wasn't deliberate. You were always our good friends and we always had so much fun with you both. You were part of the best years of our lives. I love you, Carol.
Carol, Terri, and Kandy,So sorry to read of the passing of Grady. I think of all of you every time I pass the Mt Olive Baptist Church sign on Highway 82 which reminds me of the house we had such great memories in as children. From our old days at Reno Elementary to the days of running around in the beauty shop, to the birthday parties we got to share before you moved, I will always have a special place in my heart for your sweet family. There is not time or words to describe all the time that Butch and I have spent with Grady and Carol. Butch and Grady playing golf or just sitting and talking (would loved to have been a little bird and sat in on their conversations while playing golf).Would not take anything for our many trips we made. Grady had a theory about everything, maybe you didn't always agree but you listened anyway. Yes, Ron he was a very positive person. If Butch wanted to get his golf swing back on track Grady was always there to give lessons, Butch often commented he should have been a golf coach. Butch & I lost a best friend and he will never be forgotten. Thanks for all the good times we shared, all the laughs, dances, jokes and travels. Carol and Grady was like a second brother and sister. RIP Grady we love you and will never forget all the good times we shared. Prayers for all, we love you Carol, Kandy, Terri and kids.
