Mrs Sarah 'Granny' Guess' Obituary
Mrs. Sarah "Granny" Guess, 101 of Centerton, AR passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 in Springdale, AR. She was born November 15, 1905 in Stillwell, OK to Jack and Francis (Rippitoe) Stillwell.
She was a homemaker, a retired garment factory worker and a member of the Merry Matrons Home Extension Club of Centerton, AR and a member of Bethel Heights Assembly of God Church in rural Gentry.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Guess, three sons, and one daughter.
She is survived by seven daughters; Gletha Guist of Fayetteville, AR, Mary Lou Bradshaw of Greenland, AR, Ethel Fields of Cave Springs, AR, Alice Bradshaw of Wesley, AR, Ollie Hollowell of Fayetteville, AR, Chris Hutcheson of Centerton, AR, Kathy Kimbrell of Cushing, OK, twenty one grandchildren, forty five great grandchildren, and twenty four great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory of Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 12, 2007 at Gospel Lighthouse 2940 Old Wire Road in Springdale, AR with Reverend Jeff Hutcheson officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Springdale, AR.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Bradshaw, Donald Bradshaw, Randy Hollowell, Mark Hutcheson, Shorty Fields, Brian Dover, Kevin Hutcheson, Bobby Joe Guess.
Memorials may be made to church of your choice.
