Gregory Lee Goodman's Obituary
Gregory Lee Goodman, age 76, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. Born on January 12, 1948, in Richmond, Virginia, he was the son of Berry Russell Goodman, Sr, and Waunda Louise Mayfield Goodman.
A U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, Gregory dedicated his career to serving his country and retired from the U.S. Department of Defense as a Quality Assurance Representative. He was a proud member of Faith Community Church in Whitefield, Ok.
Gregory's love extended beyond his service, and he cherished his family deeply. An avid bass fisherman, he found joy in competing in fishing tournaments.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Lynn Stricklin Goodman; children James Prosser, April Prosser, Angie Prosser, Eddi Prosser Conner; brother Rick Goodman; twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services to celebrate Gregory's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, with burial and military honors at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Gregory will be remembered for his service, dedication, and the love he shared with his family and community.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred to Faith Community Church, Kathy Goodman Family Center, in Whitefield, Oklahoma.
