Harold Dean May's Obituary
Mr. Harold Dean May, 77 of Wichita, KS passed away Sunday, May 2, 2004 in his home. He was born February 17, 1927 in Springdale, AR to Dallas and Dilla (Watkins) May. He served for nine years in the U.S. Navy and seventeen years as a painter at Boeing Aircraft. He owned and operated the Corral Motel and was known for his flowers and landscaping.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cleta Rogers May, sons, Phillip C. May and Johnnie L. May both of Wichita, KS, sisters, Maxine Schaiff and Jearlean Perryman an husband Bobby both of Springdale, AR, Bernice Snavely and husband Harold of Wichita, KS, brothers, Paul G. May, Dallas May, Jr., Galen May and wife Brenda all of Lowell, AR, Joe May and wife Catherine of Springdale, AR, one grandson, Bryan L, May and one granddaughter Holly Nicole May of Wichita.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 6, 2004 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2004 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Mr. Gary Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Springdale.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Hospice Organization of your choice.
