Harold Lee Parker, age 69, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Springdale Christian Church, followed by a celebration of life at On the Mark in Fayetteville.
Harold (Bucky or HP) was born April 18, 1952 to Harold and Virginia (Hutchinson) Parker. He graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1970. He worked for many years at Coca-Cola Bottling in Fayetteville where he made many dear lifelong friends. He also worked as a car salesperson; at the U of A agriculture farms, as a medical driver, and most recently as a bus driver for Fayetteville Public Schools.
He was a loving and affectionate father, who always knew how to embellish a story to entertain those around him. He was a dedicated Razorback and Yankees fan; however, horse racing was his real passion and he loved to be at Oaklawn surrounded by his many friends. He was great with kids and influenced many young athletes coaching various sports teams for his son Micky.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Mark Parker of Fayetteville and sister Linda Parker of Springdale. He is survived by a son Micky Parker of Fayetteville; a daughter Kelli Parker (Brad Monday) of Fayetteville; a daughter Andrea Harris (Brian) and two grandsons Brandon and Gage Harris of Van Buren; and a nephew Clayton Parker of Springdale.
The family encourages friends to share memories and pictures of Harold on the Moore’s website. Any flowers sent to Moore’s will be transported to Springdale Christian Church for the service
