Jean Gibson
I met Hasu at Walnut Grove nursing home while my Mom, Gladys Gibson, lived there. Hasu always had a smile on her face and was very sweet. My Mom passed away on November 21, the day after Hasu's Birthday (unbeknownst to me at that time). On the 22nd I returned to Walnut Grove to pick up my Mom's things and Hasu, seeing that I was upset, asked me if something had happened to my Mom. I said Yes and she held my hand and said she was going to say a prayer for her. She spoke in her native tongue and it was so beautiful to me. I gave her a big hug and thanked her. I will never forget how sweet she was and I will miss seeing her lovely face. Sincerely, Jean Gibson
