HC Spradling's Obituary
HC Spradling, 84, of Springdale, Arkansas, died Thursday, January 22, 2009 in Springdale. He was born September 9, 1924 in Purdy, Arkansas. The son of Jasper Clyde and Willie Caldonia (Grigg) Spradling. He was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army, retired from the Fayetteville Veterans Hospital, a farmer and a member of the Cornerstone Word Alive Church in Springdale, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by one brother, JC Spradling and one great grandchild. He is survived by his wife Freeda I. Spradling of the home, four daughters; Greta Qualls and husband Richard of Avoca, Arkansas, Karen Gibbons and husband Kenny of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Vickie Judy and husband Rodney of Lowell, Arkansas, Dena Klenc and husband John of Avoca, Arkansas, one son; Marlin Spradling and wife Nancy of Gravette, Arkansas, two sisters; Ruth Holloway of Springdale, Arkansas, Maxine Foster of Huntsville, Arkansas, two brothers; Rex Spradling of Springdale, Arkansas , Jasper Spradling of Huntsville, Arkansas, thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 26, 2009 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, with grandson, Pastor Dale Qualls officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers will be Dusty Qualls, Brian Qualls, Kristopher Gibbons, Blake Judy, Kevin Brown and Jeremy Brown. Visitation will be 1:00 PM till 5:00 PM, Sunday, January 25, 2009 in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM.
