Biography
Helen Harrelson, age 80, of Fayetteville died Saturday June 25, 2011 in Fayetteville. She was born August 16, 1930 in Locke, Arkansas to Walter and Mandy Sylvania (Davis) Locke. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Nolan Harrelson, one daughter; Thelma Helen Harrelson, three brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by one daughter; Jean Walker and husband Bruce of Springdale, AR, two sons; Charles Nolan Harrelson and wife Margaret of Fayetteville, AR, Clarence Ray “Bun” Harrelson and wife Terri of Springdale, AR, five sisters; Annie Slape of Heber Springs, AR, Alice Wagner of Greenland, AR, Nellie Wagnon of Fayetteville, AR, Faye Gaylord of Mt. Home,AR, Bonnie Bowerman and husband John of Mayfield, AR, six grandchildren; Charles Harrelson, Helen Myrick, Corey Harrelson, Heath Harrelson, Karon Banks; Barry Walker, ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 27th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 28th in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Don George officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
