Helen K. Smith's Obituary
Helen K. Smith, 65, of Hindsville, AR, passed away November 18, 2011 in Fayetteville, AR. She was born May 19, 1946 to Harold Mayes and Jewel (Hudson) Mayes. She was a homemaker and so much more. Helen was a mother, nana, sister, aunt and daughter in law. She enjoyed camping, cooking and being with her family. Helen loved spending time with her grandkids either watching them in the band or sports. She spent a lot of weekends at the race track and quickly become everyone's Nana. Helen will be missed and loved forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Cecil “Jerry” Smith.
She is survived by sons, Kent Smith & wife Stacey of Hindsville, AR, Craig Smith & wife Alisa of Springdale, AR, two brothers, Daniel George Mayes & Harold Kenny Mayes, both of Springdale, AR, a sister, Doris Braswell, of Garfield, AR, four grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Austin Smith, Makayla Smith, and Caleb Smith, and
in laws; Clarence and Ona Smith of Berryville, AR.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Graveside services are Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Berryville Memorial Park in Berryville, AR.
