Helen Marie Rupert's Obituary
Helen Marie Rupert of Fayetteville, AR, passed away December 9, 2011, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was 87 years old. She was born to Floyd R. Jarman and Alice Malinda (Hays) Jarman, July 2, 1924, in Bolivar, MO.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Thomas W. Rupert.
She was active in the United Methodist Women’s Organization, and was a volunteer for Washington Regional Auxillary, and a member of P.E.O., but her greatest accomplishment, according to her children was being the “greatest mother in the world!”
Helen is survived by her children; son, Dale Rupert of Harrisburg, PA; Keith Rupert & his wife Janet of Wichita, KS; daughter, Dianne Fahring of Lawrenceville, GA; son Mark Rupert & wife Jackie of Denville, NJ; and son, Lyle Rupert & wife Sheila of Conway, AR, as well as 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Thomas W. & Helen M. Rupert Scholarship Fund at both Hendrix College, 1600 Washington Avenue, Conway, AR, 72032, and Kansas Wesleyan University, 100 E. Claflin Avenue, Salina, KS 67401.
A memorial service will be held at Butterfield Trail Village, 1923 E. Joyce, Fayetteville, AR on Tuesday, December 13, in the afternoon.
