Helen Ruth Miller's Obituary
Helen Ruth Miller, 90 of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away Saturday April 4, 2026, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born in Gravette, Arkansas on February 6, 1936, to Ova and Robbie Allsbury Sooter. She moved from Gravette to Bentonville in 1939 where she attended Bentonville Schools and graduated with the class of 1954. Upon graduation, Helen worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.
In 1960, Helen married Franklin Miller. She worked beside her husband to start Frank’s Country Meats, followed by Miller Seed Company. Later in life, Helen’s marriage to Franklin dissolved and she relocated back to Bentonville where she worked for Walmart Jewelry Department and sold Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was a member of the Bentonville Community Church of the Nazarene. Over the years, she enjoyed many hobbies. Making Homemade Apple Butter, cooking, canning, painting and singing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, John Sooter (J.B.), Charles Sooter, and Kenneth Sooter and wife Mary Ruth. Three sisters, Opal Sooter, Ellen Jefferson and husband Joe, and Beulah Brown and husband Lynn. Two nephews, John Sooter and Shane Brown. She is survived by one son Lyndon Miller of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and one daughter Kay Miller of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one grandson, Zachary Miller and wife Jamey of Fort Smith, Arkansas and one great grandson Kandon. She is also survived by a sister-in law, Ozell Sooter of Bentonville, Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14th at Nelson Berna Funeral home, Rogers, Arkansas followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Bentonville Cemetery.
