Henry and Mary AnnMary was just a country girl born in Jenks USA. Henry Jr, came from Arkansasfor just a chance that they'd meet someday. Junior went a courting and swept Mary Ann off her feet. While strumming his guitar, he didn't miss a beat.He made her very happy. She would sing everyday, Im the happiest girl in the whole USA. Junior proposed to Mary Ann and they set their wedding date. They married in Sapulpa Okla. on June 30, 1958.Junior wanted for Mary this beuatiful dress of red. It cost almost his whole paycheck, but he worked without a break. They have a wonderful son and a beautiful daughter in law. And 2 of the cutest grandsons that you've ever saw. Junior and Mary gave their lives to Jesus and began to serve the Lord. Working to win souls, by ministering Gods' word.Today they're celebrating their anniversary. They've been married 50 years. Caring for each other deeply, sharing their life, their joy and tears. The last few days have been both hard and glorious. To feel him leave that room in triumphant glory last night is something I’ll never forget. I’ve never experienced victory over death like I did with Bro Easter last night. I knew he was going. The whole atmosphere in the room changed as he departed. To God be all the glory. I’m truly going to miss this soldier of the cross.

Henry came to Gravette a few years ago; he always brought a smile everywhere he’d show. Playing music with the Old Town String
Band at BVH wellness center was his plan. If you hung out at Hard Luck Diner, El Bohemio or Lions Stop, you just might find him on hand. Henry was a preacher, painter, picker and poet. He’d make you laugh at a joke or sing you a song before you’d know it. One band member said, Henry, you picked this town and then you painted this town. The truth is everyone’s day seemed a little brighter when Henry came around. Singer, Song Writer, Country Boy, Christian and Jolly Joke Teller. A True Friend to all, Henry was quite a Feller!
