Dear Family and Friends of Herbert,

I'd like to express my sympathies at the loss of your father and friend. I have just recently arrived in Fayetteville as pastor of Good Shepherd, and was up to see Herbert for the first time this past week at the hospital. He was incredibly kind and gracious.

May you know the comfort of Christ as you mourn his loss. We look with hope to the promise of the resurrection in Christ extended to him through his baptism into Christ.
