Please allow me to extend my heartfelt condolences to your family. I have just recently dealt with the passing of a dear friend from cancer at the age of 47. I understand you do not know me, but perhaps sometime after your grief has subsided a little, you or someone in your family may want to contact me. I think we may share family history. My Mom's maiden name was Sandefur. She is now 73 years young and has recently been doing some ancestory research. Her paternal grandfather came from the Henderson/Owensboro, Kentucky area and had several brothers that were involved in the Civil War (both sides).
