To Ms. Ann Breshears:
I am deeply sorry that you have lost your dear father, Mr. Howard Eoff. No doubt this is truly a sad time for you and all your family. Yet Ann, I was encouraged by God's Word of hope. Even in this trialsome time, knowing what the Bible tells us about the condition of the dead as well as the hope for the dead leaves us with comfort.
In the Bible at John 5:28,29 the scriptures tells us that there will be a resurrection. Those who are resurrected back to life will enjoy life in paradise. (Luke 23:43) Jesus alluded to this when he told the man who died next to him that 'he would be with him in paradise.' So even though we temporarily lose someone dear to us, our heavenly Father assures us that he will raised them from the dead.
May you find comfort in knowing that our Father is loving and can guarantee everlasting life because he cannot lie. (Titus 1:2)
