Howard Paul Foy's Obituary
Howard Paul Foy, born on July 9, 1944, in Gilbert, LA, to the late Howard and Doris (Matthews) Foy, passed away on June 27, 2024, in Rogers, AR. He was 79 years old.
Howard was a loving father, husband, and grandfather, who always put his family first. Soft-spoken and kind, he was a man of faith and a good Christian who dedicated much of his life to serving others. A longtime member of Calvary Church, Howard's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He had a passion for working on old cars with his sons and was fluent in pig Latin, a playful trait that brought joy to his loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Naomi Foy; his son, Howard Delwayne Foy; his stepson, Mark Hampton; and his brother-in-law, James Gillaspy.
Howard is survived by his beloved wife of 9 years, Elizabeth Foy; his children, Nathan Foy and wife Lettie of Rogers, Vickie Boyd and husband Kevin of Rogers, and Lisa Roscher of Rogers; his stepchildren, Tim Hampton and wife Kristi of Harrison, AR, and April Thompson and husband Tim of Bella Vista; his daughter-in-law, Cecila Foy; his sisters, Dorthy Gillaspy, Edna Atkins and husband Richard, and Louise Riddlesperger and husband Donald. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Calvary Church of Bentonville. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Howard will be laid to rest at Rogers Cemetery.
Howard's legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.
