Howard W. Jordan's Obituary
Mr. Howard W. Jordan, 86 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008 in Fayetteville. He was born October 23, 1921 in Durham, AR to Bert M. and Berthie (Turner) Jordan.
He was retired form the Building and Grounds Department from the City of Fayetteville, a member of the Assembly of God Church, and assisted his wife in performing worship services at area nursing home for the last 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda S. Shelton.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Jordan, four sons; Nathan W. Jordan of Wichita, KS, Larry K. Jordan of Wichita, KS, Gerald W. Jordan of Fayetteville, AR, Kevin D. Jordan of Fayetteville, AR, two sisters; Myrtle Baker of Fayetteville, AR, Bertie Dotson of Huntsville, AR, fifteen grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2008 for 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with the family present to great friends for 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 13, 2008 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverends Earl Jordan and H.M. Shipp officiating. Burial will follow at Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland.
Memorials contributions may be made to Washington Regional Hospice.
