Ione & Gene will always be very special to me. They were some of the first people at the Springdale Church that welcomed me when I was a teenager. Ione always had a smile anytime I saw her. She was a very special lady. You have a wonderful family and a tremendous heritage. I am so sorry I could not attend any of the services. Ione is at peace and walking those streets of gold with alot of friends and family - what better place to be. Love and prayers to you all.
Barbara and family: My mom and I are very sorry to hear about Ione's passing. I know she had a very difficult time in the past few years, but it is still so hard to lose a loved one even knowing they are in a better place. Please know our thoughts are with you.

Fond memories growing up, going to Uncle Gene and Aunt Ione's house. Life, time, and distance helped create separation for years. But, by Grace, I had the opportunity to reconnect and bond when my Dad was ill. Ione was a savior for us - a loving, dedicated sister. I cherish those recaptured times with Aunt Ione - and Donita, I never thanked you sufficiently for your help during those months. Aunt Ione was proud of her children and grandchildren - and rightfully so. A life well lived; going to a reward well deserved.

A quick glance at my Grandmother's Bible will give an accurate picture of her life of service to others and to the Lord. There isn't one page which isn't dog-eared, crinkled, underlined, or circled. She cared for so many: her mother, Bertha Harding, until she died; her husband Gene Webb, during his long battle with heart disease; and finally his mother, Wilma Webb, visiting her everday in the nursing home. May she always be remembered for her spirit of love as she joins the family who was gone on before her.
