Irene Inez Skelton's Obituary
Irene Inez Skelton, age 95, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born May 10, 1919 in Fayetteville, the daughter of Henry Edward and Lula Mae Bolen Boshears. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Skelton.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Comfort Church of Christ in Fayetteville.
She is survived by a son, Ronnie Skelton and his wife Dirinda of Fayetteville; a sister-in-law, Lillie Boshears of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Laura Bailey and her husband Scott of Fayetteville and Diane Skelton of Lewisville, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Allyson Bailey and Austin Bailey.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Moore’s Chapel. A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
The family would like to thank the staff at Brookstone Assisted Living and Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville for the care of Irene.
