Irma Little Boyer, 109, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away on December 18, 2019 after a long and well lived life. Irma, one of eight children, was born to William Alfred and Montezella Lewis Little in Abbott AR on Nov. 23, 1910. She Read Obituary
I will always remember staying with Irma at her house. She always had a smile for me and made sure that I did my homework! She came to Norman's and my wedding and were so grateful that she chose to share our special day with us. We will miss her and she will always have a special place in our hearts. Norman and Cheryl
I am sorry to hear of Mrs. Boyer’s death. She taught me to read, among other things, at Washington Elementary School in Fayetteville in the early ‘60s. Reading opened up the world to me and I went on to become a reporter, technical writer, and editor. I am now an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church, USA., and I remain an avid reader. Not a day goes by that I don’t use the skills Mrs. Boyer so patiently and lovingly taught. I send condolences to her family, and Light Perpetual shine on her.
