Musette: So sad to hear of your mom's passing. I think of all the great times we had at your home. Your Mom and Dad were great. My prayers are with you.
My sincere sympathy on the death of Mrs. Logan. She was my sixth grade teacher at Central School in Mexico, MO, and I have many great memories of her and being in her class. She was a very special lady in my life.
Mrs. Logan was my 6th grade teacher and was a good one. I hope my 30 yrs thus far as an educator are a tribute to her and the other good teachers in the Mexico Public Schools. Mrs. Logan was the one who came to us in class on a Friday afternoon in Nov, 1963 to tell us that the President had been shot and killed. Her voice and words still ring in my ears. Then she said
"it might be against the law but dammit we are going to pray"...
