I wanted to say thank you to those that posted your thoughts and kind words to this site. Our father was a good man and will be truly missed. He taught me what hard work was and he also taught me how to take care of others as well as myself. For that I am eternally grateful and miss him dearly. My brothers and I appreciate everyone who attended the service for our father and your thoughts and condolences are very much appreciated and never forgotten.

To the family, I am very sorry for your loss. Jack was a mentor of mine 45 years ago. His father used to cut my hair and I used to play catch with Jack at the baseball diamond. I remember when Jack caught the biggest catfish I have ever seen. He and his father-in-law, Conner Mugley, had a catfish chained down on the back of a flatbed truck. I remember that like it was yesterday. Once again, Jack was an often thought of friend.
