Jacqueline Carpenter's Obituary
Jacqueline Carpenter, 90, of Bentonville left this world Thursday, January 13,
2022, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. Jackie was born February 5, 1931,
in Ash Flat, Arkansas, to Theodore Forrest “Doc” Martin and Fern Biggerstaff
Martin. She is preceded in death by her parents, four other siblings, husband John
Mack Carpenter, cherished son Maxie Carpenter, and beloved daughter Melania
Carpenter Wingfield.
Jackie worked many years as owner and operator of Jackie’s Beauty Shop in
Bentonville. She was a long-time member of the Bentonville Church of Christ. Her
greatest strength and source of joy in life was faith in God and her family.
She is survived by daughters Rhonda Carpenter of Bentonville, Rita Oliver and
husband Dan of Oklahoma City, Johneese Adams and husband Kyle of
Fayetteville, Mary Horton and husband Larry of Bentonville, daughter-in-law
Brenda Carpenter of Centerton; grandchildren Samantha Hernandez, Christina
Sazama, Marly Oliver, Micah Carpenter, Shelby Carpenter, Alex Coffman, Mason
Adams, Miranda Vaughters, and John Horton; five great grandchildren, Lina,
Parker, Ben, Cole, and Davis. A private graveside service will be held at Old
Baptist Cemetery in Ash Flat under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in
Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Circle of Life Hospice
in Bentonville.
