Jacqueline Laughnan's Obituary
Jacqueline Laughnan, 85, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died on November 22nd. She was born on April 11, 1936 in New York City to John and Marjorie Levy.
Jackie graduated from Evander Childs High School in 1953. Following graduation, she moved to Miami, Florida where she met and married William Laughnan.
She was employed at First National Bank of South Miami for 20 years. She moved to Fayetteville in 2000 to be closer to her grandchildren. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a gentle and kind spirit and loved chocolate, PBS mysteries, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William and her siblings Jeanie Levy and Marjorie “Chickie” Levy.
Jackie is survived by her children: Carl Laughnan of Springdale, Laureen Benafield of Fayetteville, Joseph Laughnan of West Palm
Beach and Mary Laughnan of Fayetteville. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Anna Claire, Robert, Jack, and Molly.
Jackie was a member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church. A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Saturday November 27th at 2:00 at St. Joseph’s.
