I first came to know Jim Blair when I was a graduate student at the University of Arkansas. I worked as a Graduate Assistant to his wife Diane and they both were unbelievable nice, gracious, and generous people. The sharing of meals, laughter, and wisdom (not to mention Razorback Basketball tickets!!) with me created memories that I cherish to this day. Rest in Peace and be assured that your life and legacy are secure in all who knew you.

I had known Jim and nancy a short time but I will never forget that boisterous laugh he had, it was very contagious. Nancy was by his side knowing exactly what he needed when we had no clue that’s the kind of love that will never be forgotten between the two of them and I will always remember those special moments.
My favorite memory of Mr, Blair was the evening we (all the kids) were playing on the back patio and a huge rattle snake wanted to play too. Mr. Blair went inside and returned with a sword. He held it down with a broom and de-headed it. I was never afraid of snakes after.
I remember the way he looked at Nancy Beth Horton Blair. His eyes, his smile, his posture, his entire being radiated his love for her. They were at the 50th High School reunion for the class of 1972. My husband & were privileged to attend. Jim Blair was at ease with the group.
