James Royland Coker's Obituary
James Royland Coker, of Fayetteville, passed away in Springdale on June 26, 2024, at 80 years old. He was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on January 28, 1944, to James H. Coker, Jr and Eula Jackson Coker. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Lance Royland Coker.
James was a 1962 graduate of West Fork High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as an OTR trucker and a brick mason. He loved his boys and grandkids. He also loved classic cars, hot rods, and telling stories with his old trucking buddies. He greatly enjoyed the old-school simple preaching of the Gospel, especially by brother L.V. Vickery. All in all, he was a good-hearted man.
James is survived by his 2 sons Devin Clyde Coker and Aaron Matthew Coker; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 28th, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
