James Randall Doss' Obituary
James Randall Doss, 70 of Prairie Grove, AR passed away February 13, 2025, in Fayetteville. He was born May 9, 1954, in Fayetteville, AR to Cofford and Mary Mae (Osburn) Doss.
James devoted his life to working and providing for his family. He retired from Superior Wheel Industries but was never one to sit still. He became his own boss and quickly became known as the “Junk Man” in the Prairie Grove, Lincoln, and Farmington area. He never turned down the request to help by hauling off someone’s junk to help them clear out unwanted items. He had a passion for fixing and restoring classic vehicles. He enjoyed attending and participating in car shows and swap meets or any setting where he had the opportunity to visit with family, friends and even complete strangers. James also relished adventures in the woods, riding side by sides with family and friends.
He was a dedicated father and grandfather who cherished every moment with his daughters and grandchildren. He made it a priority hug each one of them upon arrival and departure every time they were together. Poppy enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s events, cheering them on with unwavering support. James instilled values of faith, hard work, and honesty in his loved ones.
He will be fondly remembered for his humor, quick wit, and remarkable ability to remain positive when faced with a challenge; you could always count on him to have a smile on his face. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be profoundly missed.
