Vickie Neal Willmuth
I am so sorry to learn of Mr, Jimmy's passing. He was my father's, George Neal, best friend growing up. My dad was born October 3, 1938, so they were more like brothers. Neither of them would admit to all the mischief they perpetrated, but I suspect there are some wild stories that have never been told. I grew up knowing Mr. Jimmy and Mrs Carolyn. When my daughter was born, they sent a small teddy bear. My father had just given her one. The bears were the same size, and were christened, Pappaw Bear and Mr. Jimmy Bear. Both bears are safe in the cedar chest today. When my mother passed away in 2005, I contacted Mr. Jimmy to let him know. At the visitation, my Daddy was "lost". Then Mr. Jimmy arrived. I could see how much that helped my Daddy, having Mr. Jimmy there. I did not know Mr. Jimmy had passed, and I sent a Christmas card, as I have done for years. When I received it back today in my mail, my heart broke, I knew. I started searching. Please know that our prayers are with you all.
