James Joseph Giczkowski's Obituary
James Joseph Giczkowski, age 82, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on April 2, 2024, at Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born on December 9, 1941, in Buffalo, New York, to Frank and Irene Giczkowski. James graduated from high school and served in the United States Marine Corps. After his service, he married Lorraine Wiechec on December 17, 1971, in Buffalo, New York. James worked for Wurlitzer / Baldwin Piano as a service tech manager. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Giczkowski and Irene Giczkowski Banaszak; stepfather, Casimer Banaszak; brother, Ronald Giczkowski; and son-in-law, Danny Yarber.
James is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lorraine Giczkowski; children, Debbie McCormick and husband Dan, Dan Giczkowski and wife Lorie, Cheryl Yarber, Jill Bivens and husband Quinn, Kelly Moore and husband Andrew, Colleen Stachey and husband Zach, and Bradley Giczkowski; nine grandchildren, Kristen, Arielle, Seth, Jamie, Jake, Hunter, Jackson, Natalie, and Jordyn; and two great grandchildren, Lorelei and Wendy.
There will be a visitation for family and friends at 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville, with a rosary service starting at 12:30 p.m., followed by Liturgy Word Service at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2024, at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
