James Howard Scott's Obituary
James Howard Scott, age 61, of Springdale, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 in Springdale. He was born March 21, 1953 in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, to parents Harry Robert Scott and Betty Jane (McGarrah) Scott.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Robert Scott, and a son, Jason Scott, who passed away in 1994.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Christine (Casey) Scott, of Fayetteville; his mother, Betty Jane Scott, of Springdale; daughter, Shelly Scott Rodriguez and husband George, of Eucha, Oklahoma; son, Cody Scott and wife Tyra, of Lowell, Arkansas; two brothers, Harold Scott and wife Kim, of Springdale; David Scott and wife Carrie Lynne, of Alma, Arkansas; as well as 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2014 at the Abundant Life Worship Pentecostal Church of God, 2134 Laura Street, Springdale, Arkansas. Pastor C.H. Doss will officiate.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home & Crematory, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
