Good morning. I'm a licensed counselor, and I first knew Jim when he was chaplain at Ozark Guidance. I worked in the residential treatment center, Habberton House, in the early 2000's. He attended our weekly team meetings. I was so impressed with his compassion, insight, and deep kindness. He would stop by my office and we conversed about clients, ethics, and spiritual matters. After he left Ozark Guidance, I kept up with him via Facebook, and a few times we visited at Einstein Bagels. I only learned about his wicked sense of humor through Facebook. I have such fond memories of this wonderful man, and I'm sending prayers to all of the family. Your loss is profound. I wanted to let you know that I am one more person who experienced the unique spirit of Jim Huffman. Peace to all of you, Cathy Campbell, LPC.
