James 'Jimmy' R. Wilson's Obituary
James “Jimmy” R. Wilson, age 70, of Springdale, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in Springdale. He was born April 11, 1942 in Pitcher, Oklahoma, the son of Wallace James Wilson and Wounetta McElyea Wilson Couch.
He was retired from the United States Navy. He was a member of the Elks Lodge.
He is survived by a son, Michael J. Wilson of Fayetteville; a daughter, Judi P. Sturgill and her husband Todd of Bentonville two brothers, Michael D. Wilson and his wife Judy of Fayetteville and Jack Wilson of Fayetteville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, along with many loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 18 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday at Moore’s Chapel with burial at Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Wilson, Jackson Wilson, Jack Wilson, Danny Dikeman, Daniel Harrison, and Logan Sturgill. Honorary pallbearer will be Aaron Wilson.
