James Shelton Moore's Obituary
James Shelton Moore, 90, of Springdale, Arkansas died Saturday, February 5, 2005 at his residence in Springdale. He was born December 29, 1914 in Ryan, Oklahoma the son of Lloyd and Iva Ruth Luce Moore. He graduated from Southwestern State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma with a degree in Horology, served as a Deacon in the First Baptist Albuquerque, New Mexico, Highland Baptist Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was a member of the Senior Adult Department of the First Baptist Church Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mabel Wren Moore. He is survived by one daughter; Janet Wilder and her husband Glenn B. of Springdale, Arkansas, one son James S. Moore and his wife Mary of Fort Worth, Texas, Grandson, Glenn B. Wilder III and wife Melanie of Dallas, Texas, Grandson, James S. Wilder and wife Deanna of Grove, Oklahoma, Grandson, James S. Moore Jr. and wife Jessica of Fort Worth, Texas, Granddaughter, Jennifer S. Moore of Waco, Texas, Grandson, Joshua S. Moore of Fort Worth, Texas, two great grandsons, J. Shelton and Walker D. Wilder both of Grove, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, February 10, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville with Rev. James S. Wilder officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00pm in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a 4:00pm Memorial service at Woodland Acres Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be James S. Moore, James S. Moore Jr., Joshua S. Moore, Glenn B. Wilder, Glenn B. Wilder III, and James S. Wilder. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class, First Baptist Church of Fayetteville, Arkansas and the Men of the Senior Adult Class, Woodland Acres Baptist Church, Tulsa, OK.The Worship of God
