Jan Adele Thurow's Obituary
Jan Adele Thurow, 52, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 in Fayetteville. She was born January 2, 1955 in Granite City, IL, the daughter of Jack and Jerry (Rushing) Travelstead. She was a 1973 graduate of Macomb High School; she attended the University of Illinois in which she received her B.S. in 1977 and her M.S. in 1978. She was a member of the ZETA PHI ETA, ASGA (the American Speech Hearing Association) and a Speech Pathologist for the Fayetteville Public Schools.
She is survived by her husband; Mike Thurow of Fayetteville, AR, one son; Brandon Thurow of Little Rock, AR, one daughter, Ryan Thurow of Tontitown, AR, her father and mother; Jack and Jerry Travelstead of Springfield, IL, two brothers; Stan Travelstead of Springfield, IL, and Craig Travelstead of Naperville, IL.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Thursday, November 15, 2007, at the Central United Methodist Church Activities Center, with Rev. Dr. Bryan W. Fink officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends following the memorial service.
