Jane Worthington Duls Meadows' Obituary
Jane Worthington Duls Meadows, 93 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born December 6, 1920 in Dallas, TX to William H. Duls and Theresa (Marshal) Duls.
Mrs. Meadows was a graduate of the University of Texas, where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She was a member of Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. She had a lifelong love for tennis having played into her mid 80’s and in 1997 won a silver medal in doubles at the Senior Olympics in Tucson, Arizona.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Jack E. Meadows, Sr., two sons, Jack E. Meadows, Jr (Carolyn) of Little Rock, AR, William N. Meadows (Susan) of Fayetteville, AR, four grandchildren, Jack E. Meadows, III (Sarah) of Hot Springs, AR, Melissa Riley (Cooper) of Little Rock, AR, William Meadows, Jr. (Sunny) of Byron, MN, Mary Jane Bryles (Roger) of Fayetteville, AR, and six great grandchildren, Olivia, Rachel, and Sarah Cooper Riley of Little Rock, AR, Sophie and Lily Bryles of Fayetteville, AR, and Ryder Meadows of Hot Springs, AR.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 25th at Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with Reverend Sara Pair officiating. Private graveside burial will be held at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sequoyah United Methodist Church 1910 Old Wire Road Fayetteville, AR 72703.
