Janita (Jan) Faye Moore passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday March 9, 2021 in Arlington, Texas of complications from a stroke she suffered in 2016. She was born July 22, 1936, the 7th of 8 children to Abner R. and Thelma Ch Read Obituary
We are thinking of Jan (as we knew her) ad her family. We feel we are blessed to have had a chance to know both Jan and her sweetheart, Dr Moore. They were a beautiful couple, full of love for each other and their family. And that loved carried over to everything they did in life. Will forever remember our visit to her home, after she had suffered the stroke that ultimately took her life. Even under such difficult circumstances, she was fullbof smiles and happy as could be. Anyone who interacted with her would have to be able to see how her love was being carried over by her family in the way they took care of her. We miss her, but we will always remember them and their example. She will live in her family's hearts and ours for as long as we live.
Jan was one of the best friends i have ever had! I will miss her forever!
It’s hard to list all the memories we’ve shared with your family especially while we were students. From playing card games to grading wine from your dad’s grapes and your mom’s spaghetti (I have raised my kids on her recipe and now they use it) it was all wonderful memories. I missed Jan so much after she moved but was happy she was near her very much loved family. She was a more than a good friend, she was like family to me.
