In the short time that I knew Jay he never failed to impress me, as a father, as a husband, as a friend. I wish that I could’ve met him sooner and spent more time with him, but at least I take comfort in knowing that what few times we did hang out were of the highest quality. Our backpacking trip in 2022 was among the highlights of my life and his caring, his sense of humor, his attention to detail, and his leadership made the trip that much better for all of us. The world was clearly a better place while Jay was in it. My deepest condolences to Deborah, Caroline, and the rest of Jay’s loved ones.
We cherish the times we got to spend with Jay, specifically the time last summer during our backpacking trip. He was a wonderful man with a great heart and he will be missed. All of our love. Erika, Ben, Thomas and Riley
I have known Debrorah her entire life. She’s like another sister. I met Jay at their wedding a rememberable Joyous occasion. I have spent close connections when they travel to California. Jay was an incredible man father husband. He will be missed.
Jay was a man who always made you feel welcome and also made you feel a part of whatever was going on. He was so appreciated of family and friends. He was a light for everyone to see and enjoy. A true man of God.
Especially grievous news. The world has lost such a fine fellow. Our hearts are low and we send our condolences to Jay's loved ones. That Jay was an outstanding person was obvious to me even though we rarely met.
