Jay Richeson Warren Herring's Obituary
Jay Richeson Warren Herring, 84 of West Fork, AR passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in West Fork. She was born August 9, 1925 in El Dorado, AR to R.E. Warren, Sr. and Mildred Mobley Warren. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was preceded in death by one daughter; Brady K. Green.
She is survived by her husband John M. Herring, three daughters; Jay Warren Herring, Jr. of Fayetteville, AR, Rebecca H. Garner of West Fork, AR, Mell H. Stephens of Jonesboro, AR, one son; S. Alex Herring of The Woodlands. TX, one brother; R.E. Warren, Jr. of Graham, TX, One sister; Janie W. Boone of Jonesboro, AR, eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
After marrying during the war she lived in the Smackover, AR area for 24 years then her husband’s job took her all over the world from London, England to Guangzhou, China. Her life was filled with many adventures.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 5, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Zion Road in Fayetteville.
