J.C. Branson's Obituary
J.C. Branson, age 87, of Cave Springs, Arkansas passed away Saturday April 23, 2016. He was born September 30, 1928 in Johnson, Arkansas to Troy and Ellen Robinson Branson. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas. Preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Becky Pierce. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Pat Cress Branson; two daughters, Kathy Spitler and her husband Don of Cabot, Arkansas; Sherrie Markum of Cave Springs, Arkansas; one son, Larry Branson and his wife Beulah of Wolf Point, Montana; five sisters, Roberta Gabbard, Dorotha Drummond, Patsy Basler, Linda Moncrief all of Winslow, Arkansas; Brenda Gann of Poteau, Oklahoma; one brother, James Branson of Winslow; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday April 26, 2016 at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Bentonville with burial to follow in Brentwood Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
