Jean Harvey's Obituary
Jean Harvey, a loving wife, sister and close friend to many passed away peacefully at Brookstone Assisted Living facility, Saturday May 17, 2026 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Jean was born in Spiro, Oklahoma on April 26, 1941. Jean had a delightful sense of humor and a kind spirit who never met a stranger in her life. Her personality was one in which anybody could feel comfortable. Jean was a successful businesswoman owning her own styling salon in Mena. Jean was a Christian.
Jean was proceeded in death by her husband, Bill Harvey, of Mena, her parents James Roland Autry and Minnie Ann Autry all of Mena. Jean was also preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. Upon the death of her husband, Bill, Jean moved to Fayetteville to be closer to her brother and family. Needless to say she instantly found a new church and a new group of friends to be around. Jean enjoyed her Tuesday shopping trips with close friend Dot Cole.
During their retirement years, Jean and Bill went on extended RV excursions including trips from Alaska to Florida and most states in between, they enjoyed playing golf, and attending Razorback football games.
Jean is survived by her only sibling Ron Autry, his wife Kim of Fayetteville, nephews Garland Autry, his wife Sarah, Garrett Autry, his wife Megan all of NW Arkansas, Adam Crosson of Portland, Oregon. Jean is survived by her daughter-in-law Dana Harvey, husband Marty Harvey of Mena. Grandson Brock, his wife Jewlea, great nieces Kenlea and Holly of West Fork, many other family members.
Jean will be interred next to Bill at Pinecrest Cemetery, Mena, Arkansas.
