Jean ''Jean'' Stout's Obituary
Biography
Jean Stout, age 88 of Fayetteville passed away Sunday February 16, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born in the community of Whitener in Madison County, Arkansas to Walter and Hope (Boyd) Guthrie. She shared the best years of her life with her loving husband of 54 years John H. Stout. She was a member of the Fayetteville East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served Jehovah faithfully. She was preceded in death by her husband John H. Stout also her son, Don Stout and all nine of her siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Breshears and her husband Jerry of Rogers, Arkansas; one son, Garry Stout and his wife Jan of Minto, North Dakota; eight grandchildren and their families, Leslie James of Shelby, Minnesota; Mary Beth Mackivitch of Danville, Virginia; Christie Shumpert of Summerville, South Carolina; Cary Stout of Summerville, South Carolina; Jonathan Stout of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Trina McKee of Minto, North Dakota; Tony McKee of Idabel, Oklahoma; Traci Lane of Houston, Texas; 24 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday February 21, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday at Moore’s Chapel with Chris Wallace and Rich Lawrence conducting the service. Burial will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery with Terry Carpenter conducting the graveside service.
