Jeannette (Jan) Dorothy Emmons' Obituary
Jeannette (Jan) Dorothy Emmons, age 89, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born March 14, 1936, in New York, New York, the daughter of Kasimer and Edna Gunther Zaleski. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Dustin Thorne.
Jan worked in retail for many years before retirement. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, hanging out with the Red Hat ladies, picnics at the lake , watching the Kansas City Chiefs' football games, and she loved spending time with her daughters. Her greatest passion was music and dancing.
She is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Wiest (Butch) of Lenexa, Kansas and Debra Dechant (Bob) of Garden City, Kansas, her sister, Patt Perpall of Lynbrook, New York, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her very special soul mate, Pat Bell, which they shared a lot of fun times and memories.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers, Arkansas with a memorial service to begin at 3:00 p.m. Under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church or Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.
