Jeffrey “Fuzzy” Kirkland Fozard, CW4 US Army Retired, a veteran known for his unwavering dedication to his family and his country, passed away on April 12, 2024, in Rogers, Arkansas, at the age of 75.
Born on October 13, 1948, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, Jeffrey was the beloved son of William and Doris Fozard. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant brother, John Fozard.
Jeffrey served his country with honor and distinction as a helicopter pilot in the US Army. His bravery and commitment to duty earned him the respect of his comrades and the admiration of his community. Upon his military retirement, Jeffrey served Benton County as a Deputy Sheriff for many years.
He found joy in his hobbies, particularly in scrimshaw and collecting knives and firearms. His passion for these pursuits reflected his keen eye for detail and his appreciation for craftsmanship.
However, Jeffrey's greatest source of pride and fulfillment was his family. He was a loving husband of 51 years to his devoted wife, Sue Fozard, and a dedicated father to his daughters, Keri Huff and Dana Serfass. Jeffrey cherished every moment spent with his family, and his love for them knew no bounds.
In addition to his wife and daughters, Jeffrey is survived by his two sons-in-law: Timothy Huff and Shawn Serfass; grandchildren: Bradley Cale Huff and Anya, Adam, and Annaliese Serfass. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and integrity that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A service to celebrate Jeffrey's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17, at the Rogers First Church of the Nazarene. Following the service, Jeffrey will be laid to rest with full military honors at Fayetteville National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
