Jerre Hughes Marietta's Obituary
Jerre Hughes Marietta passed away on December 19, 2022. Jerre was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1936 to Francis and Willa Hughes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Marietta, son Chip Flynn, sister Pat Endacott, and brother-in-law Dr. William Endacott. Jerre attended college in Tulsa and became a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She had a lengthy career at IBM in California where she met her husband, Don. Don and Jerre retired to Bella Vista in the early 1990’s to be closer to Jerre’s sister and family where they became real estate agents with Coldwell Banker and worked together for many years. Jerre enjoyed dancing with the Sophisticated Ladies in Bella Vista “back in the day.” She liked taking long walks, sharing her bowling score, and had a special place in her heart for kitty cats and shoes! Jerre is survived by her son Sean Flynn of Huntington Beach, California, her longtime caretakers Stephanie and Hershel Blevins and their family in Northwest Arkansas, many nieces and nephews as well as the incredible team at Magnolia Place Memory Care in Rogers, Arkansas. Creation arrangements have been entrusted to Nelson-Berna Funeral Home also of Rogers
