Jerry E. Combs' Obituary
Jerry E. Combs, age 59 years, of Elkins, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014. He was born in Fayetteville to parents Elbert C. Combs and Clara (Stufflebeam) Combs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jim Combs, and he is now reunited with his beloved wife Janet. Jerry and Janet were avid gardeners and loved the outdoors. Janet was known for her big, beautiful hydrangeas. Now they are cultivating their garden together in Heaven!
Jerry is survived by his children, Jason Combs and wife Erica, of Spring, Texas; Jeremy Combs and wife Goar Akopyan, of Houston, Texas; daughter Jamie Fore and fiance’ Philip West, of Columbia, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Sofia, Elijah, and Olivia Combs, of Spring, Texas; Gabriel Combs, of Camp Lejune, North Carolina; Janet Mane Combs, of Houston, Texas; and Megan West of Columbia, South Carolina, two sisters, Elberta Swan and husband Hugo, of Victoria, Texas; and Carmen Schweitzer and husband Tom, of Lowell, Arkansas.
Services are 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the Patrick Community Church with burial to follow in Patrick Cemetery. Reverend Don George will officiate.
