Jerry Ozell McClendon's Obituary
Jerry Ozell McClendon, age 65, of Gentry passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2023.
He was born February 15, 1958, in Van Buren, Arkansas to Harvey and Frances (Guist) McClendon Jr. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Susie McClendon, and two sisters; Shirley Ann Rigsby and Patricia Lavon McClendon.
Jerry recently accepted the Lord and Savior into his heart and was saved and baptized, proudly entering the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Valorie (Vester) McClendon, his four sons; Jeremy McClendon of Springdale, Adam McClendon of Fayetteville, Joe Williams of Fayetteville, Nick Vargas of Fayetteville, and one daughter, Debbie Burley of Springdale, three brothers; Bobby McClendon of Siloam Springs, Billy McClendon and wife Sharon McDaniel of Gentry, Jimmy McClendon and wife Shelly of Little Flock, one sister; Becky Martin and husband Tommy of Gentry, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 am at Moore’s Chapel.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 11:00 am at Moore’s Chapel with burial at Tharp Cemetery in Fayetteville.
