Jerry "Pop" Lee Williams' Obituary
Jerry “Pop” Lee Williams, 83 of Farmington, Arkansas passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Farmington, Arkansas. He was born January 7, 1937 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Ottis Lee Williams and Julia Mae (Graue) Williams.
Pop was a retired electrician. He was a devoted Farmington Cardinal fan as well as an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. We must not forget the Razorbacks! He was a member of the IBEW Local 700 out of Fort Smith and a member of the Fayetteville Big Bass Club and the Northwest Arkansas Big Bass Club. On top of being an outdoorsman and avid sports fan, he was very involved in his community. Developing the the Farmington Summer Ball program in its early beginnings, serving on the Farmington Booster Club, Farmington City Council and Farmington Public School Board for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Williams, two sons, Danny Williams and wife Debbie of Augusta, Georgia Curt Williams and wife Jane of Farmington, Arkansas, one daughter, Kara Gardenhire and husband Kevin of Farmington, Arkansas, five grandchildren, Paige Prince, Cooper Gardenhire and Caroline Gardenhire all of Farmington, Arkansas, Kaylyn Williams of Augusta, Georgia , and Taylor Williams of New York City, New York and three great grandchildren, Easton, Ryder and Kannon Prince of Farmington. He is also survived by his brother Vic Williams of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1st from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday at Farmington Cemetery with Pastor Zach Stachey officiating.
