Jessie Gene Johnson's Obituary
Jessie Gene Johnson, age 88, of Fayetteville, died Friday, October 5, 2012 in Fayetteville. He was born July 8, 1924 in Bentonville, Arkansas to William Riley and Ruth Faith Cumpton Johnson.
He was a member of Fayetteville East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served in the United States Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Minnie Johnson and one brother Gerald Johnson.
He is survived by two daughters, Gerrine Jeter and Regina Gill both of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one son, Stan Johnson Sr. and his wife Beth of Smackover, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Friday, October 12, 2012 from 1 till 4:30PM at the Greenland Community Center. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
